Prayer

Heavenly Father, we praise and thank you for gathering us in your presence. As we come together to celebrate the coming of your son, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the many blessings you continue to shower upon us. Thank you, Lord, for the lessons we learned and for the friendships we gained; we beseech you to send forth your holy spirit to guide us, bless everybody who is here so that you may enjoy this event to the fullest; bless us, pupils, with wisdom and diligence that we may continue to study well, bless our teachers with strength so that they will be able to teach us as your son has done; bless our parents, so they may continue to support us with love and understanding; bless our school administrators so they may continue leading us to achieve our goals; Teach us all, Lord, to follow your ways, and to be instruments of your love to one another. These we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior. AMEN.
