    This pedal is an interesting add-on for the Vibesware Guitar Resonator GR-1. It provides extensive control of the feedback harmonics with a control feeling like a WahWah pedal. About GR-1: Electric guitar feedback as desired effect entered into musical history beginning in the early 60's. It has been used extensively by Jimi Hendrix, Pete Townshend, The Who and many others. All these artists used their own technique to integrate guitar feedback in playing. Controlled guitar feedback can be gorgeous producing wide ranging effects. Guitar feedback is mostly produced by playing at a very hight sound level so that feedback from the speaker sound waves to the guitar strings occurs. While high gain distortion sounds give you this feedback already at a medium sound level, crunch sounds require a more extensive sound volume. On stage it’s difficult to reach good and reproducible feedback conditions. Many players turn up their sound level before playing with feedback and then turn down it in order to continue with normal playing. To phase sound leveling and string positioning in space is tricky. However, extensive sound levels and poor feedback reproducability are limiting this gorgeous effect till this day. Not only on stage but also in recording studios. Time consuming experiments are required for adjusting good feedback conditions. Considering the wide field of home recording it must be stated that such feedback techniques cannot be applied a bit to low volume or earphone playing. The Vibesware Guitar Resonator is a new patent-registered harmonic feedback generator. It will bring you any string vibration feedback live on stage, in recording studios and at home.     Welcome to Vibesware ! Enjoy gorgeous feedbacks and have a lot of fun with the Foot Controller for the GR-1. This pedal is an interesting add-on for the Vibesware Guitar Resonator. It will give you an extensive control of the feedback harmonics with a control feeling like a WahWah pedal:

    Simply connect the pedal between your Resonator Box and the Resonator Head. There is no extra power supply needed. Please use two stereo plugs:

    The phase of the Resonator Box should be switched so that the basic note feedback occurs at the basic position of the controller. Depending on pickup and resonator position you can switch then between different feedback harmonics without the need of changing the postition of the Resonator Head to the guitar neck ! Starting with the basic note feedback, switching to the first octave and then to the quintal and finishing the feedback with the second octave ... the feedback pitch range that can be obtained with a single string is really impressive. This will expand the way of playing with the Guitar Resonator significantely. Errors, literal mistakes and technical changes excepted.
