    Secondary Prevention
    

    Focuses on early identification and treatment of health problems Takes place after the health problem has occurred Encompasses activities for 3rd level of health care

    Tertiary Prevention
    

    Aimed at returning the client to the highest level of functioning possible following the occurrence of health problem Directed towards preventing recurrences of the problem Correlates with the 4th level of health carerehabilitation
