For further details, please see the Notice/Rules for the Examination, after the same has been notified. Except for the Defence Services Examinations at Serial Numbers 2, 3, 8 and 9 the upper age limits are relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes and certain other categories as notified by the Government from time to time.

Female candidates are not eligible for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination.
