that can affect a typical mining construction project. The risks are categorized into the following: Financial resources 1. Bankruptcy refers to the legal proceeding in which a project declares inability to pay business debts as they become due. 2. Inflation - In economics, terms used to describe, respectively, an increase in the value of money, in relation to the goods and services it will buy.Inflation is the pervasive and sustained rise in the aggregate level of prices measured by an index of the cost of various goods and services. 3. Theft - taking of project's property without that client or project manager consent.

4.Fixed-price contract- Contract that provides for a price which normally is not
subject to any adjustment.

5.The provision of your own equipment, office facilities, manuals and training. 6.Having to insure the client against losses or damages due to your negligent acts or omissions. 7.Being obliged to correct defective work at your own cost. 8.Having to provide your own insurance cover, e.g., Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Employer's Liability. -
