Foreword SYSTEM DESCRIPTIONS, OPERATING PROCEDURES AND OUT MODULES FOR SULTAN SALAHUDDIN ABDUL AZIZ POWER STATION, PHASE 1 The System Descriptions, Operating Procedures and OJT Modules for Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Power Station Phase 1 were developed by IKATAN. The materials used for the development of these documents were primarily obtained from the original vendors’ manuals. The operators and engineers present during the initial commissioning of the units were also consulted, especially when writing the detailed, step-by-step operation procedures. All of the documents were developed on-site. Exhaustive efforts were spent to gather specific plant parameters, including going through numerous commissioning and overhaul reports, talking to various station personnels and even extracting them direct from the control cubicles. When completed, the documents underwent two stages of validation process by the station staff. The final documents are thus verified and accepted.
