Introduction
The Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle is often classified as one of the fathers of Western philosophy, but what often goes unnoticed is that he is the founder of modern scientific thought. His systematic and scientific approach to observing and trying to comprehend the world around him is the same that is used in modern methods. However, Aristotle lived in a time when the world trusted in the myths and religion, and gods and monsters were an explanation to the workings of the world. His thinking and writings paved the way for the advancement of science for the next two millennia.
