POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUMMARY Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy for Defense international products. The Director will identify and execute growth opportunities for both existing and potential customers. will provide direct oversight of the opportunity register to ensure alignment with the Defense leadership team. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for revising existing strategic and tactical Sales processes and instituting new ones to increase P-wins and attain business goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage the identification and execution of growth opportunities for both existing and potential customers. 2. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Oshkosh Defense products for both existing and potential customers. 3. Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy and implement strategic plans once identified. 4. Provide direct oversight to the opportunity register for current and potential business. 5. Provide direct oversight to the development, implementation and process for research, collection, and tracking of customer information. 6. Review suggested business opportunities to approve bid/no bid decision based on company objectives and present to Defense leadership team. 7. Identify new business opportunities by pro-actively creating, cultivating and enhancing relationships with industry and Government contacts from the Pentagon, TARDEC, TACOM, etc. 8. Review and approve completed proposals, presentations and terms and conditions. 9. Negotiate and execute potential opportunities with current and potential customers. 10. Manage the completion and submittal of RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposal). 11. Lead negotiations and execute potential opportunities with existing and potential customers. 12. Evaluate and direct all sales and profit targets within a defined budget. 13. Articulate Oshkosh Defense product capabilities to current and potential customers. 14. Direct and assist the business development team in terms of philosophy, strategic direction and day-to-day execution. 15. Represent Oshkosh Defense at both domestic and international trade shows and conferences. 16. Oversee department budget and expenditures. 17. Other duties as assigned.
