    I've created a new depreciation area - copied from 01. New area to be revalued based on historical indecies. Certain assets however need the net value increased further after the cost revaluation. This I wanted to do using ABZU, however I get the error You cannot post write-ups - i'm using a custom transaction type to only post to the new dep area.

    Assets write up/Revaluation in a specific depreciation area (ABZU/ ABAW)

    Hi, I've created a new depreciation area - copied from 01. New area to be revalued based on historical indecies. For the first time - to get the historical adjustment we manually correct the values - Cost updated via ABAW - in the case where both Cost and Acc Dep are revalued higher both figures are entered in the ABAW transaction. Certain assets however need the net value to be increased further after the cost revaluation (i.e. the depreciation copied form area 01 is too high). This I wanted to do using ABZU, however I get the error You cannot post write-ups - I'm using a custom Transaction type to only post to the new dep area. I can quite happily use ABZU on area 01 using 711 but cannot adjust the new area on its own, even though they both show exactly the same historical depreciation. Is there any way to resolve this ?
