    Tensile Strength Test

    TEST: The fabric is placed in the Titan Universal Strength Tester. Then the fabric is placed in between the jaws of the tester and 400 pounds force is applied and held for 10 sec. RESULT: If the fabric can withstand the force for 10 sec without tearing then it has passed the test

    AbrasionResistance Test
    TEST: The fabric is placedplastic in an abrasion tester like Martindale Abrasion Tester. Then steel or silicon carbide is placed as abradant and 12 kPa pressure is set. After that the machine is started and checked after every 500 cycles. RESULT: If the fabric can stay without tearing or any damage for 4500 cycles or more then it is considered to have passed the test
