The purpose of the LS&CO. eCommerce Item Master Processing Tool project is to take the two files from Raymark Outbound folder, process the file for the necessary changes and put it back in the same Raymark Outbound folder with a different name. Along with the Item Master file, there is another file, the Item UPC, which is generated nightly. This file also has to be taken from the Raymark Outbound folder, and put back into the same outbound folder after changing its name. There is no processing required for this file. It has just to be picked up and put back after changing the name. Title: eCommerce tool Replacement-Web Publishing Client: Levis Platform: C# in Visual Studio.NET 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 Description: LS&CO. is looking to replace its existing eCommerce data management tool. At present the process of managing the eCommerce content information for the brands (Levis and Dockers) is very manual, time consuming and prone to errors. LS&CO. is looking to replace the MS Access database that is currently used along with manual processes around the same with a workflow based application (eCommerce Tool or WorkHorse) suited to create and manage the content information. This will also involve automation of the data flows from the applications to the workflow based application which will serve as the sources of this data. This project also provides an opportunity to LS&CO. to replace websites hosted on Blue Martini to .NET Platform which is architecturally aligned with the overall solution.
