B. Learning Activities 1. Introduction Teacher comes into the class, greets students, and leads them pray before beginning the class. Teacher reminds the students about the previous topic, namely solving the quadratic equation by using factoring and completing the square they have learned using power point in a simple discussion. Teacher tells the students the present topic and the learning objectives. Teacher points out to students the relationship between the previous topic and the present topic Teacher motivates the students by describing the use of this topic in real life 2. Main Activity Teacher organizes the students into some groups and asks them to sit in circle with their groups. Every group consists of six members Teacher tells the students that each group choose a member to be a reader while the others should be listening well and trying to catch the point of the material Teacher gives worksheet to students and asks them to solve the problem in 15 minutes based on the given steps in the worksheet, write their works in the flipchart, and then adhere to the whiteboard. Students discuss the problem in their own group and ensure that everyone knows the answer in their group. Teacher observes the activity of the students in their group and ensures that every student is engaged to the lesson. Teacher walks around the class and gives guidance to the students in group. Teacher reminds students to use time effectively.

After 15 minutes, teacher asks the students to stop working with the worksheet and asks each group to adhere their works in the whiteboard. Teacher calls a student from one of groups randomly to present their works and the others group give some responses. 3. Closing Teacher with students does reflection. Teacher leads students to draw conclusion and make summary. Teacher gives homework. Teacher closes the class. C. Assessment The assessment methods applied are: Process assessment : Using group observation rubric.

Presentation assessment : Using presentation assessment rubric. Students achievement assessment consisting of: Students worksheet assessment Homework Makassar, Approved by, Head Master Mathematics Teacher
