Sectors of Indian Economy
are engaged in various economic activities Some activities produce goods others produce services
Producing goods by exploiting natural resources is an activity of Primary sector. This sector is known as primary because it forms the base of all other products that we make. Since most of the products that we use are from agriculture ,dairy and fishing hence it is also called agriculture and allied sectors. It is the largest economic sector and plays a very important role in the socio economic development of India.
Production
In
this sector the natural products are changed into some other form(finished goods) through various manufacturing process. As this sector is associated with different kinds of industries it is also called Industrial sector.

Activities
carried on this sector helps in the development of primary and secondary sector. These activities do not produce them shelves an aid or an good but they are an aid or an help in the production process.
The
value of final goods and services produced in each sector during a particular year provides the total production of the sector for a particular year The sum of the production of all these sectors is known as the GDP of a country
