Journal of Composite Structures Award 2001

Each year Members of the International Editorial Board of the Journal of Composite Structures vote for the paper published in the Journal which, in their opinion, made the most signicant to knowledge in the area of composite structures. As always, due to the high standard of papers published in the Journal and the diversity of topics under consideration, this is an extremely dicult decision. The year 2001 was no exception to this rule. It is with pleasure that the International Editorial Board have bestowed the 2001 Journal of Composite Structures Award to: "Uncertainty Analysis of Stiened Composite Panels" by Ahmed K. Noor, James H. Starnes and Jeanne M. Peters Volume 51, Number 2, February 2001, pp. 139158. All involved in the Journal of Composite Structures congratulate the authors on winning this Award. This is the second occasion that the authors have won this Award. The previous occasion being 1995. The photograph shows, from the right hand side, Ahmed K. Noor, Jeanne M. Peters and James H.
