ANNANDALECongressman Gerry Connolly on Monday announced his endorsement of Jeannie Armstrong candidate for Fairfax County School Board At-Large. Connolly believes Armstrong brings the kind of vision and experience necessary to maintain the quality of Fairfax County Public Schools, while recognizing the need to practice fiscal responsibility. As a career social worker who got her start in public schools, I believe Jeannie Armstrong will bring a welcome change to the Fairfax County School Board, Connolly said. Her Fairfax Students First plan is the kind of innovative thinking and policy we need to keep Fairfax County Public Schools among the best in the nation. Armstrong said she was pleased to receive the endorsement. Im honored to receive Congressman Connollys endorsement in this race. The leadership that he has provided Fairfax County over the years has been invaluable.
