OVERVIEW IN LEAN SIX-SIGMA/SIX-SIGMA METHODOLOGY

PURPOSE The purpose of this module is to provide a new hire data analyst with overview on the six-sigma/lean six-sigma framework. This will serve as a primer to further develop the skill set needed in data analysis to effectively deliver value adding reports to the various stakeholder of the group, that is aligned in business process improvement framework discuss in six-sigma methods.

OBJECTIVES At the end of this module, the participant will have a general understanding on what six-sigma is, its history and its use. Understand the various phase recommended in six-sigma to approach a process improvement activity/project Understand the connection of six-sigma methods in data analysis and the relevant tools and techniques useful to the trade. Understand the relevance of reporting in a control phase of a process.
