Module coordinator Credit 3 weeks Start Date Revised Study Guide Introduction: This module focuses on the physical environment of watershed and coastal areas, which consists of geomorphology, hydrology, oceanography, climate, and soil. Some concepts and theories of the inter-relationship among all related physical factors of watershed and coastal area will be given. Contents: The module covers the following topics: geomorphology, hydrology, oceanography, climate, and soil science. What will be achieved: Upon completion of this module, the students should be able to: 1. Have understanding of physical environment of watershed and coastal area. 2. Have identifying the natural processes within the watershed and coastal zone. 3. Have knowledge on spatial analysis capabilities to the watershed and coastal area with regard to the natural processes. Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites for this module.
