Your patient is a 78 year old widow who fell in her home. She is post-op day one after a left hip arthroplasty. She has low bone mineral density and a BMI of 20.5. She lives alone but her churchs Meals Ministry delivers pre-cooked frozen meals to her home weekly. Her visitor tells you that she is concerned. The visitor states She just hasnt been the same since her husband died. She used to be a door greeter at the church, but I hardly see her anymore.
