Hi, my name is Mubeena Syed, I a team member of the Canadian Outreach Team.

I have worked as a part-time, contract associate since August 2009. I was born in Mississauga, Ontario, the very city in which I still live and work. I love Mississauga for its suburban charm and hospitality. You can always count on a smile from a stranger here. Both my parents and two of my siblings also live in Mississauga. I also have a sister that lives in New Jersey, USA whom I often visit on weekends too. I am really proud of my siblings as they have worked hard to achieve their goals in life while maintaining strong ties with loved ones always. I am the eldest of the four, so I have always had a sense of nurturing and responsibility towards everyone around me. This shows me in my role as a wife and mom too. I have been married six years and a five year-old daughter and two year-old son. My husband is a Call Centre Professional and nowadays is also dipping his hands in the bakery business literally. He is quite the cake design artist and the Cake Boss is definitely his inspiration. We even spent two-hours in line in front of his bakery just so that Khurram could say I went to Carlo s Bakery . It was a great time. I love to travel! I ve visited quite a few states across the border. Also had extensive visits in India and Pakistan and that s where my roots are. I love my cultures and look for every opportunity to live them. I also practice my faith, Islam, in all spheres of my life. If I had to describe my life in a few words, I would say that it is a vibrant tapestry that weaves my family, culture, faith and life experiences into one beautiful image .
