BRINGLE FERRY ROAD TO CLOSE FOR EMERGENCY BRIDGE REPAIR NEXT WEEK RALEIGH In order to perform emergency bridge repair, the N.C. Department of Transportation next week will close Bringle Ferry Road where it crosses over High Rock Lake at the Davidson and Rowan County line. The closure will take place from Monday, June 13, at 8 a.m., until Thursday, June 16, at 4 p.m. To get past the closure, motorists should follow this detour: If traveling west on Bringle Ferry Road: Take southbound N.C. 8 to N.C. 49 and make a right. Follow N.C. 49 and make a right on Stokes Ferry Road. Follow Stokes Ferry Road and make a right on River Road. Follow River Road back to Bringle Ferry Road. If traveling east on Bringle Ferry Road: Make a right on River Road. Follow River Road to Stokes Ferry Road, and make a left. Follow Stokes Ferry Road to N.C. 49, and make a left. Follow N.C. 49 to N.C. 8, and make a left. Follow N.C. 8 back to Bringle Ferry Road.
