Hospital and SCHO accreditation timeline: Recommended prior steps are (1) Obtain a copy of NABH standards &

guide book (2) Attend NABH awareness programs conducted by QCI It is mandatory for Hospitals to fulfill all legal and statuary requirements before preassessment. Following policy guidelines are applicable on all organizations applying for NABH accreditations from 1 July 2011 onwards. * Pre Assessment should be within two months of applying for accreditation. It should not be delayed beyond three months. If healthcare provider is not ready for preassessment within two months, then accreditation application will be considered cancelled. They have to apply fresh. ** Final Assessment should be within six months of pre assessment. It should not be delayed beyond six months after the pre-assessment. If healthcare provider is not ready for final assessment within six months, then accreditation application will be considered cancelled. They have to apply fresh.
