The author has identified some interesting pitfalls in the hiring process which may not be very obvious at face value such as the unrealistic approach and delegation gaffes Some traps that are suggested by the author may not be universally applicable. Such as not giving due credit to recommendations of a candidate can also lead to missing out on the best candidate Similarly in certain cases unstructured interviews may be the best way to go forward especially when the job involves on the feet thinking like customer relationship management
