1 Implementation of Fuzzy Sets

Aim: Implementation of Fuzzy Sets and Fuzzy relations Theory: Fuzzy sets are sets whose elements have degrees of membership. They were interoduced by Lotfi A Zadeh as an extension of the classical notation of a set. Fuzzy set permits the gradual assessment of the membership of elements in a set, this is described with the aid of a membership function valued in the real unit interval[0 1]. A fuzzy set A in X is expressed as a set of ordered pairs A = {( x, A ( x )) | x X } Fuzzy set operations:1. Union: C = A B c ( x ) = max( A ( x), B ( x )) = A ( x) B ( x) 2. Intersection C = A B c ( x ) = min( A ( x ), B ( x)) = A ( x ) B ( x ) 3. Complement 4. De Morgans law , 5. Associativity

6. Commutativity 7. Distributivity

Conclusion: A study on Fuzzy sets is done
