peak in power and glory. The Pax Romana, a period of piece which surely indicates the advancements made by the huge empire during ancient times. Just when things looked as if they could not go wrong in Rome, conflicts arose ranging from religious outbreaks to invasions of dirty barbarians. Problems began to plague Rome. This was in fact, the beginning of the downfall of Rome. On the contrary to Rome, America is in a very similar situation right now. From similar financial problems to terrorism in major cities, we may be facing a similar downfall. America is facing its downfall as a major superpower of the world, and a keyplayer in the global economy. Just like Rome, we may be seeing the fall of one of the greatest countries to ever be founded.
