Refund Policy
Course Cancellation Bradford Metropolitan College reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient number of students. Should a course be cancelled, the required students will be notified and an alternative course can be arranged for the student. Otherwise, the full tuition fee will be refunded with no charges.

Refusal on Visa Application (No fault of Candidates) Should a Tier 4 visa application be refused where the student will not get 30 points from British High Commission, the College will refund the course fee less Non-Refundable Administration Fee, Courier, Transfer, or Administrative Charges (not more than 10%) production of the following evidence: a) UKBA visa refusal letter (APP200) b) Passport showing both a photograph and signature c) Where payee is not the student, a letter from candidate authorizing repayment to payee. Refund must be claimed in writing within 30 days of issuing refusal letter. No claim will be treated after 30 days from the date of Visa Refusal Letter.

Refusal on Visa Application (Fault of Candidates misuse) Should a Tier 4 visa be refused after a student has been granted 30 Points for CAS then revoked as a result of a candidates misuse (e.g. lack of sufficient funds; falsified bank statements or provision of documents, or any such deception the following conditions apply: a) 50% charge (on tuition fee paid) in addition to Non-Refundable Administration Fee, Courier, Transfer, or Administrative Charges. b) UKBA Visa refusal letter (APP200) c) Passport showing both a photograph and signature d) Where payee is not the student, a letter from candidate authorizing repayment to payee. Refund must be claimed in writing within 30 days of issuing refusal letter. No claim will be treated after 30 days.

Refusal on Visa Application (with Right of Appeal) a) If Student has the right of appeal, there shall be no refund until a decision is made. b) In a case where student dismisses Appeal and visa is refused due to Candidates fault; (Where student gained 30 Points on CAS letter) there shall be no refund. c) Should an appeal be refused, there shall be no refund whatsoever. d) Should two 2 CAS letter be issued and still refused, a 300 administrative charge will be requested for each CAS letter issued.

Course Drop / Withdrawal In the case of a withdrawal by student, the following conditions will apply: a) Should a Tier 4 Visa be granted, there shall be no refund; b) When a CAS is issued , there shall be no refund at all, c) Where withdrawal is notified 14 days before the commencement of a course and the student has not been issued CAS or any other Administrative letters, tuition fee (less enrolment fee (199) & administrative charges (199) will be refunded, d) Where withdrawal is notified 14 days after the commencement of a course, (with or without CAS) there will be no refund.

Suspension a) Where a student is registered for a study programme with/without CAS and administrative letters been issued; should student decides to withdraw there shall be no refund, b) Should an enrolment be cancelled as a result of non-attendance, non-payment or misconduct there would be no refund. Transfer between Courses All students have the opportunity to transfer courses within the School. Deadline for such transfer is within 3 weeks of course commencement. It is advised to discuss this with the course co-ordinator and fill the Change of Status Form at the reception. Should there be a fee difference in current and proposed course, both student and college will pay / refund as required.
