Mr. Ph X, I have reviewed with enthusiasm some of your papers and projects.

I am really interested in them and in your profile in general. I am writing to express my i nterest in studying my PhD grade with you. I am an Aeronautic Engineer with a Master in Science in Mechanical Design. I hav e a couple of articles published on international congresses, whose theme is abo ut the analysis of the dynamic stability in hybrid bearings in CFD. I worked two years for the Mexican Air force developing software for the army. Now I wish t o come back to the lecture rooms to build up science. Some subjects of my interest are aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, CFD or similar to pics. I have a interdisciplinary project in mind to develop. In general, is r elated to the aerodynamic profile of an airplane or a helicopter blade. I want to obtain a method and an algorithm to make possible that the profiles can chang e during flight time taking into account the variation in flight conditions. By this way they would be more efficient. If it is possible, we could elaborate a model of these adaptive profile wings and apply them in a real airplane. I know I have to be evaluated and approve some standards before being consider i nside your honorable institution, I have no doubt about me having the asking req uisites. However, before my application, I would like to start contact with you or any partner of yours who is already developing similar technology. Of course I am flexible with the final product because of the university status. I attach my resume for you to have a look on it, in case you are interested. It would be an honor for me to be considered as a candidate to become part of your group or work. Let me finish with two questions: 1) Are you available or would you agree to be my thesis director? And/or wh at do I need to develop my PhD with you? 2) If you are not available, do you know other people at your university wh o work with similar topics? I really appreciate your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely J. Rodrigo Fisher Fdz.
