Novelist Ann Packer Discusses Her Book

'Songs Without Words'

Ann Packer’s debut novel, "The Dive from Clausen’s Pier," was
a nationwide best seller that established her as a gifted
chronicler of the interior lives of women. Her second novel,
"Songs Without Words," explores the lifelong friendship of
two women, the confining roles we sometimes take upon
ourselves, and the deep connection in a friendship that is
pushed to the breaking point. Ann will discuss the novel,
recently released in paperback. A book signing will follow
with books for sale courtesy of Shaman Drum Bookshop,
cosponsors of this event.
