In light of DECS Memo No. 184, s. 1991 on Encouraging the Institutionalization of Academe-Industry Linkages on Consortia Among Engineering and Higher Technical Education Institutions, the ECE Department, College of Engineering of the University of St. La Salle, would like to request your good office to allow Angelo Rafael S. Longno, incoming graduating student to conduct his practicum in your company. The objectives of this activity are the following: 1. Expose students to actual industrial and office situations under simulated employment conditions for a given period of time; 2. Entice students to go into employment along the lines of the job given to him/her during practicum; 3. Allow students to satisfy certain academic requirements; and; 4. Build-up confidence of students prior to employment after finishing the course and passing the board examination. Each student is required at least 300 hours of practicum starting on December 2009.
