Warner & District Ag Society Award - $1000 X 3 Given to the student that will be entering into Agriculture or Business Management at the University or College Level (must apply by letter to Bert Nilsson) This is open to any eligible student at Warner School Bert Nilsson 642-3808

Royal Purple Award for Highest Average in Math 30 - $500 Given to any eligible student at Warner School (Grade 12) this is reviewed at the end of each year. Donna Pyne 642-2198

Governor General Award for the Highest Academic Average in Grade 12 No $ Given to the student at Warner School with the Highest Marks in Grade 12 Alberta Government The Alexander Rutherford Scholarship from the Alberta Heritage Fund: Grade 10 - $300 for 75% 79.9% - $400 for 80% and higher Grade 11 - $500 for 75% - 79.9% - $800 for 80% and higher Grade 12 - $700 for 75% - 79.9% - $1300 for 80% and higher Students that maintain 80% average starting in Grade 10-12 receive money from the Heritage Fund. The Rome Meisser 1967 Centennial Scholarship for Highest Diploma Average $1000 Given to student that has completed all 3 High School years in Warner Bert Nilsson 642-3808

PAC Leadership Award - $100 All students are eligible and the award goes to the student who contributes most to the culture of Warner School, as determined by the Warner School staff and the Parents Advisory Council.

Calculation of Honor Roll/Valedictorian The criteria for the Rutherford Scholarship act as the foundation for the determination of the Valedictorian and/or Honor roll in the Senior High. In the junior high, all four core courses must be used in the calculation. The honor roll is slightly different than the Rutherford in the sense that the average is based on courses taken in that report card year, regardless of the grade designation (e.g. World Geo 30) ELA, Social, Math and Science
