NEW MUSICAL THEATER PRODUCTION COMPANY

Russell Maitland & Staff (formally of Courthouse Center for the Arts) form a new musical theater production company. Russell Maitland and staff (formally of the Courthouse Center for the Arts) are pleased to announce the development of the new theatrical production company, R.M. Maitland Productions. Director and Choreographer, Russell M. Maitland, Music Director, Stephen DeCesare and Production Director, Rachel A. Nadeau, head the creative team producing five shows in 2012.
Through a partnership with Executive Director/CEO, Cathy Levesque of the Stadium Theatre, R.M. Maitland Productions will bring five musicals to the historic Woonsocket theater throughout the 2012 season. The five shows are: The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Hairspray, Avenue Q, Anything Goes and A Wonderful Life-with a new musical score by Stephen DeCesare. Bringing entertaining musical theater to Rhode Island is our passion and this very exciting opportunity will allow us to grow and continue the successful and creative work we began at CCA, says Maitland. In the 1990s, The Stadium Foundation, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization, harnessed the interests of business leaders, donors and grants to create a thriving performing arts center, bringing in national performers, touring companies, films and educational opportunities for everyone to enjoy. ###
