Around 17k for those getting accomodation n around 19k for those nt getting accomodation is what tcs is paying in ilp...N after ilp variable pay component of 5k will be included...Max 24k...

16 day earned leave,7 casual leave,10 day sick leave for tcs employee in a year...That too max ...leave of continous 5 day is allowed in per quarter..I.E 3 months...

Loan upto 30k for house rent surety agreement i.E pagadi is given by tcs for zero percent intrest...But should be payed within a year....And this is the only loan..No other loan..

For girls going in tcs is dream comming true...Some of the advantages are...Four months leave in pregnancy period..Come late and leave early plan..Do work from home plan...And various other packages of leave too...But all applicable after marriage only...

After one year in tcs...U can take leave upto one year continous but without pay...But u will continue as a employee...Gud in case of emergency...They wont throw u out...

Every year Tcs celebrates a family day...Where each employee can bring upto four family members and make them visit whole tcs campus and their cubicle where they used to work...At this particular day free transport service and free food is provided by company plus a picnic organized by company at water park or something like that..Free of cost..Full masti...

Dnt create hype about dr.Java...Its just a editor where u write,compile,run java code 4m same place....Thatas all u need to know in dr.Java....We have to do prgms in dr java only..

One of the intresting rule in party organised by tcs every month....You can get drink in unlimited amount but u shouldn't get drunk... ( LOL )

Option of beer n whisky is there...But nt at frequent interval...But at odd interval parties...

N they celebrate party in taj...Once a year...Applicable if taj is in ur city...Chennai is applicable...Taj coromondal..

Linkedin is the only social networking site which we can access 4m tcs...Or be it other company...Not even ur gmail....This shows the importance of networking...As in a group we are getting joining n posting in different places...So we can grow our networking by adding each other 4m nw ....So keep inviting each other on linkedin...

Tcs has a tieup with indian airlines....Returning from abroad you are allowed to bring 25% extra with respect to other passengers...That mean more gift for your frndz n family...N more celebration!!!

"Nothing will happen even you get failed in ilp exams"-very much soothing words came 4m ilp instructor....''all you need to have a positive attitude and should behave properly''...This was the only criteria to get permanent into tcs after ilp....So all can get relax..:-):-)

Those who are not intrested in any stream suppose java and got java as a stream ,can change his prj other than java after ilp provided prj is there or wait 4 prj on bench ....And join as soon as prj is available...

Dont carry any books with u in ilp...Its all there in ilp library....Vry much in no...

There are three type of class rep...Hr ,technical n canteen...Dnt be a hr rep...Its vry tiring...N all u have to do is take attendence in each classes n represent ny issues to hr...Technical will take seminaar on behalf of teacher as teacher doesnt no nething...N canteen rep will raise canteen issue...So technical rep is recommendable by me...Its gud..

Now for something interesting How rich Mr Ratan tata is and where he stands in india's richest list....And how much he gets as his salary.......He gets only rs 15000 as his basic salary....He believes that chairman of Tata group should be dedicated towards welfare of family members of tata group and should have only basic minimum salary as far his personal need is concerned......Intrestingly 60% of TATA grp profit goes to various charitable trust....And remaining % for other business purpose....Tata believes that profit from the people should go back to people only......Tata grp was the first who coined and implemented the word profident fund,maternity leave...And story continues...

about ilp ahmedabad - Completed my first day of ILP at Ahmedabad,,,accomadation here is very nice,,and food is also good at reasonable rate,,,the office is at the walking distance so no problem of traveling,,,infocity is nice, All branded shops and food courts are within 200m range(eg. levis, reeebok, ccd, jhon player,,,etc).

Besides chat...TCS gives another option in entertainment zone in its protal for its employee....solve sudoku,crosswrods,organize online quizzes across tcs network,challenge ur friend in quiz,get points,....organize hangout with frndz...chek ur prgming skills...n much much more!!!!.....

:P :P- Tcs internal portal ultimatix,is pretty gud...Never faced prblm netym regarding overload or like....They must have distributed its load across various servers in diff centers.....And in case of nextstep its just opp it seems...

\m/ - TCS finally launches its chat application in its portal...working just great....will love to see u and chat with u all online everytym.....:) :) :)....

IMP - Batch performence matters more than individual performence in ilp.....If batch performes gud then u will be taught more-if ur batch performed well in java and oops then everybody will be taught web-technology.....Otherwise java will remain the only technology in ilp b4 stream training :-):-)

All those who r coming to Trivendrum.....do make sure u have all ur docs wid u.....i mean even have ur provisional degree certificate ....and all other docs......dey r a kind of strict towards these.... so plz people do it and if any doubt clarify it.... :)

Tcs conducts interview at last day of ilp...Where they see ur ilp performence and cgpa...Certifications.....Based on these paramemter they allocate project 4m the currently available prj at that tym...

No matter how intelligent u r or how dumb u r.....Only thing that matters in ilp is what is the average performance of ur batch i.E 30-40....based on which they allocate stream to whole batch....Same stream to whole batch is given...... ( hmmm... somethin to think abt!!)

Be prepared to face these or you will suffer a setback when you will join ILP.

1. Boys have to Shave daily. If you fail to do so, your entire batch (40) will have to come for A- and D+ slot.. That means, you have to come at 7AM and leave at 8:45 PM

2. If you got even 1 min late , your salary may be deducted for that day. 3. You cannot keep your I-card in your pocket. It has to be hanging around your neck. 4. You cannot carry Cellphones, Pendrives, CD or any such thing to ILP center 5. Boys are not allowed to carry any bag. 6. If found speaking in other than English, Admin people may sanction any action against you. 7. No GMail, Orkut, Facebook, Twitter, or Blogs, Matrimony, Trading sites are allowed. 8. You cannot wash or Iron clothes in hostel 9. You cannot entertain any guest in your room.
