Constraining an Equilateral Triangle Sketch Centre Point


Have you ever wanted to constrain an equilateral triangle to its centre point, without having to create lots of construction geometry? Well here is the easy way: In the 2D sketch environment, select the Polygon tool and set the number of sides to 3 (see image below), then click a centre point and dimension to suit. This gives you a fully constrained and easily controlled equilateral triangle sketch to start modelling from.
