    Arvind Kumar Kejriwal Biography

    Arvind Kumar Kejriwal began his career in the private sector as an Assistant Manager in The Tata Iron & Steel Co. After deciding to enter government service, he joined the Indian Revenue Service in 1992 and rose to become the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax. Since then, Mr. Kejriwal has taken leave from the government to work in the social sector. Dedicated to the right for information and fighting corruption, he has helped form a citizens group called Parivartan to work on issues of eliminating corruption, in particular those affecting the urban poor, along with the National Campaign on Peoples Right to Information (NCPRI) and Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangthan (MKSS).
