What?
National Service Training Program ( NSTP ) is a mandatory training course for some of those who have just completed secondary school education in Malaysia.

When?
National Service Training Program ( NSTP ) has been launched on 16 February 2004 by our Prime Minister YAB Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak when he was the head of the Ministry of Defence.

Who?
Each year, about 24% of teens who are 18 years old will be selected and trained to participate in this NS. But there are certain problems that may apply for excuse in NS.

Why?
The National Service Program was established as one of the most important effort to establish a new generation, the generation of Vision 2020. Implementation of this program is based on the concept and philosophy in such a way that is processed according to the unique needs of national and multi-ethnicity, race and religion

Advantages of PLKN

Instill values of patriotism that has faded among teenagers nowadays.

national service training program also acts as a mechanism for the formation of the participant s self-discipline.

This program which involves multi racial community can also strengthen national integration

Beneficial for the students who are finishing their secondary years. Ministry of Higher Ed. has implemented a merit system for the completion of the training certificate program that provides service marks of 6 / 10, or 60%

Conclusion
Therefore, people especially young students and parents need to take part in this program.
