ACTUAL EXPERIENCES: This day was a full of excitement, for the first time I was able to be there at the Rural Health Unit (RHU) Virac. It is really a new experience. As the orientation started, I find it interesting as the speaker started discussing some important information about organizational chart of the Rural Health Unit (RHU), different rules and regulations, and all about whats going on at the RHU. At this moment we have now the idea. At the end of the day, I have kept in mind some important information that will help me in doing my role when I am in the community.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

This day was more exciting, the topics being discussed are a little bit more interesting than yesterday. The 1st speaker for the day was Mrs. Romano, she discussed all about Blood. Different types of Blood, and Blood Donation. She makes me realized that on giving donating Blood I can extend someones life. Shes much very friendly and she keeps on smiling like an angelic face. Another topic discussed by another speaker is all about different immunization program, topic also about Pulmonary Tuberculosis and on how to treat the disease. In this twodays orientation I can say that I have learn so much and it will be great help for me when Im in the community with regards in giving health teachings.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

All BSN2A and our respective Clinical Instructors are at the RHU. The space there was not able to accommodate all of us have been transfer to another place near from the RHU and their CIs have conducted their lessons. Its very good start of discussing lesson we are being informed about the requirements needs for the exposure, the different contents of Public Health Bag, Bag Technique, Principles of Bag Technique, Home Visit, Purpose of Home Visit, who are the involved in the preparing for a Home Visit, Different Guidelines to consider regarding the frequency of Home Visit and the different steps in conducting Home Visit. This day was a full of information to be kept in mind as part of our preparation to the upcoming exposure to the community.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

This day was the time given to us to tour at the RHU, we have the chance to take a look at the different rooms there and the different services they offered. I was able to hear some important information about marriage counseling, we taught on how to records data at the RHU,

and by simple observation it is noticeable that all the personnel at the RHU are all busy in doing their works in order to serve people.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

This day was our first day in Tibgao. We met one of the Barangay Kagawads there, Mr. Edwin S. Benavidez, he was the one who entertain us in behalf of all Barangay, he is friendly enough and I feel good by his presence. We copy the organizational chart of the Barangay Health Worker I order for us to know the different persons their at the Barangay that we can encounter to. It is the time also, the first time for us to interact with the people there, we met the day care teacher, and we walked far enough and be able to observe the place, now we have the idea what kind of place, people we are going to deal with.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

This day was the second day to Tibgao. We have done planting of herbal medicines. We cleaned the room part of the health center. After that Maam discussed about herbal medicines by the DOH and even though its raining we do the walking at the Tibgao looking for a family to be interviewed and Im lucky with my partner Nerissa Villanueva we found one and that family is

very friendly I do not feel any bad feeling while we interviewing her, at the back of my mind how I wish all families there are like them but I know we cant please everybody.

July 8, 2011 ACTUAL EXPERIENCES:

This day was our last day to Tibgao, me and my partner finally has one family to interview with. This day is so memorable and our last bonding with Maam we are happily eating pineapple, we have fun of joking and smiling. In our short time of staying to Tibgao, we have so memories to be cherish and so happy for once in our lives we have to a place like Tibgao.
