1 Authority
The Board of Elections, hereafter as BOE, is authorized under Title VI, Section 302(E)[1]
and Title I, 1(E) to set the date of the Special Elections.

2 Decision
2.1 Election Districts
In consultation with the Ethics Committee Chair of the Student Congress, the following
districts shall appear on the November 5, 2008 Special Elections Ballot:

Undergraduate Seats
District Seats Territory
4 1 Granville Towers. Undergraduates living in Granville Towers.

Graduate and Professional Seats

District Seats Territory
Arts and Sciences and Humanities. Graduate and professional
8 3 students in Continuing Studies and the Schools of Arts and
Sciences and Education.
Professional Schools. Graduate and professional students in
Off-campus Studies and the Schools of Business, Government,

Information and Library Science, Journalism and Mass
Communication, and Law.

2.2 Mandatory Candidates’ Meeting

Mandatory Candidates’ Meeting shall take place at the Wilson Library Pleasants room
at 8:00pm on Monday, October 13, 2008.
