TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY:

TEACHING PERSPECTIVE

SAN SALVADOR, SEPTEMBER 2011.

INTRODUCTION
In the design of the Educational Program, an important consideration is the learning of students and is in this context that the Teaching Perspectives Inventory Questionnaire helps teachers to know what philosophical viewpoint each of the five perspectives represents: Transmission, Apprenticeship, Developmental, Nurturing, and Social Reform. Because scores on the profile sheet car range from minimum of 9 to a maximum of 45, the overall perspectives are strongly held, moderately held and weakly held. My final score was Individual, and these are my results in the five perspectives:
Katty Erazo here are your TPI scores: ---------------------08-SEP-11 ---------------------Transmission total: (Tr) 34.00 B=13; I=7; A=14 Apprenticeship total: (Ap) 35.00 B=12; I=12; A=11 Developmental total: (Dv) 30.00 B=9; I=12; A=9 Nurturance total: (Nu) 34.00 B=12; I=14; A=8 Social Reform total: (SR) 23.00 B=10; I=7; A=6 ---------------------Beliefs total: (B) 56.00 Intention total: (I) 52.00 Action total: (A) 48.00 ---------------------Mean: (M) 31.20 Standard Deviation: (SD) 4.45 HiT: (HiT) 36.00 LoT: (LoT) 27.00 ---------------------Overall Total: (T) 156.00

There are differences among my scores, some high and others low. I think my profile has less sharp differences between my highs and lows and this is the result because I disagree with some items.

In some of my perspectives scores fall at or above the upper line labeled dominant. And this represents strongly held views on my role and function as educator. There are some scores that differ by three or more points, and I should consider these inconsistencies.

CONCLUSION I have exchanged my profile sheets with my classmates and we shared and discussed
our results. We dont see us in the same manner as the profile suggests. We disagree with some items of the Teaching Perspectives Inventory Questionnaire.
