How Climate Change Effects Human Health Global warming is now a more concerning problem these days.

We humans pump many pollutants into our Earth every day without realizing it. Now most people know what results from that, climate change. Climate change does affect human health over time. Climate change usually does more harm than good to us. Threats to human health depend largely on local climate. Extreme temperatures may lead to losses of life. Also, warmer temperatures increase the harm done by air pollutants and water pollutants. Besides that, temperature can change the range of infective parasites. What is known about health and global warming today? We know that it is bad for us, especially if it comes from pollutants. Some ways it affects us humans is that it can cause deaths is by natural disasters, and diseases. Climate change causes heat waves, for example the heat wave in the summer in 2003 Europe killed over 70,000 people. It also affects rainfall patterns causing droughts and floods. It makes the chances of hurricanes higher and more frequent. These things all threaten human health and life. Climate change can also be a driver for disease migration. As it gets warmer, diseases like yellow fever, malaria, dengue fever and encephalitis are more dangerous, and their transmission seasons are prolonged. Malaria, a parasitic disease is greatly dependent on climate, as they are carried by mosquitos. As the climate warms up, the mosquitos get more active. Malaria kills many people every year, and now it is beginning to be found in places usually too cool for it to survive in due to rising temperatures. Climate change also affects air quality and pollution. Air pollution factors in many conditions in the US that result in death including heart and lung illnesses and cancer. Air pollutants are especially bad for people with heart problems, people with asthma and the elderly or the very young. Urban air pollution kills 1.2 million people a year. Scientists still dont know the results from global warming on long term for human health, and are still working on a way to prevent it. In the big picture, scientists are still debating about global warming. The fact that global warming also occurred in the prehistoric era is a scientific point. Maybe it is just happening again?
