    Welcome to Week 2!
    Hi 5th Grade parents! Greetings from Ms. Gorton-- this is our weekly newsletter to let you know what well be up to in Social Studies every week! I encourage you to check out www.tep27.org, where our calendar and project descriptions will be! We are also starting our daily Twitter updates, where our class historians will be taking down fun facts of the day online and well be able to share with folks around the world.     This week, students will get the chance to work on laptops to ll out a survey about social studies, explore our resources, and ll in a Google Map about where theyre from!

    Students will be practicing how to take notes like a historian and asking you about where you came from and how you got to your current neighborhood! Thanks for taking the time to tell them
