    INTRODUCTION TO AUTOCAD
    Autocad is a CAD software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting. The letters CAD stand for Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided drafting. Designs generated from a computer algorithm are referred to as Computer Aided Designs. Autocad was developed and sold by Autodesk.

    First released in December 1982. Autocad 2012 was released on Tuesday,22 march 2011.This is the 26th version of Autocad. Autocad is used for preparing engineering drawings for Electrical,Mechanical,Civil,Electronics and Architectural drawings. It can be used for complicated calculations like infinite element analysis. It can be used for making a bill of material. It can be used for calculating area,volume,length and perimeter of object.
