Purpose: The single site verification test is a part of the WCDMA network optimization to ensure that the basic functions of the cell are normal, such as coverage ,call access, call quality, parameter setting and so on.
Page4
Content: Through the single site function verification, the following functions for each cell shall be checked as normal :

Tools:
Drive test scanner, used for collecting the pilot signal data.
DTI;
Test UE, used for service verification and system message collection. Huawei 626;
Data collection software, used to display and log the signal strength, UE status, signal message and so on in time. Genex Probe;

Before the single site verification, we should only ensure the following conditions have been met.
Parameter Check
Page8
Alarm Check
The product support engineer will be responsible for checking and resolving all the alarms. It is important for the optimization engineer prior to any field test to check with product support engineer regarding any alarms especially intermittent alarms.

Parameter Check
The optimization engineer need to ensure the radio part parameters configuration list has been achieved. In the list the radio part parameters includes: LAC and RAC ,frequency, the scrambling code, etc.

Test Process 1
Items: LAC and RAC Purpose: Verify the LAC and RAC is as same as that of planning Method: Power on the huawei626 mobile, press the Application Program,
and select 2 WCDMA network information, RAC and LAC in the network can been seen.
Notes: if the LAC and RAC is not as same as that of RNP, we should

Test Process 2
Items: Frequency and Scrambling Code Purpose: Check the frequency and scrambling code for the verified cell if its right or not.
Test Process 3
Items: CPICH RSCP and CPICH Ec/Io Purpose: Check the CPICH RSCP and CPICH Ec/Io for the verified cell is normal or not.
Method: Power on the huawei626 mobile, press the Application Program, and select 3 WCDMA active set/monitor set. Check if CPICH RSCP(Ec) is higher than -85dBm and CPICH Ec/Io is higher than -8dB.
Notes: (1) The mobile shall be near the site. (2) If its abnormal, maybe the Tx antenna installation or the downlink interference have some problems.

Test Process 4
Items: Voice Call (MT & MO) Purpose: Verify the voice call function is normal and the
Page17
Test Process 5
Method: Make the dialing test of 3G VP service between two 3G mobiles, one for the terminating call and another one for the originating call. Test the speech and photo communication quality by your feeling.

Test Process 6
Items: PS service Purpose: Verify the PS function is normal and the PS quality is good.
Page19
Test Process 7
Items: Antenna swapping test Purpose: Verify the Rx feeder installation is right or not Method: Switch the transmitter from one feeder to another, check the RSCP changed or not. If no change happened,

Troubleshooting:
Page22
The test points should be chosen near the site and ideally
with line-of-sight to the site.
The test points should not be chosen under the site as the signal of other sectors of same site is strong too.
Page23
The driving test route should connect the test points of the sectors. It is required that signals not be shadowed by buildings along the test route to avoid turning the test into a coverage test.
The figure below shows the way to select the test points and the
test route.

Scrambling Code Setting is wrong: The scrambling code from scanner and mobile is different from the planning
Page26
Answers
The Scrambling Code may be wrong in RNC, check the datasheet in RNC.
If the Scrambling Code from scanner is the same as that of another sector in same site planned, maybe the TX/RX feeder is crossed to the another sector.
