Regarding the IBCs we supply to your Company : We confirm as follows: 1. Raw material On the basis of our raw material suppliers statements, the raw materials we use comply to the following regulations and requirements : Germany : Recommendations III from BgVV dated 01.12.1996 (Polyethylene) European Union : European Directive 90/128 EWG (23.02.1990), 2002/72/CE, 2002/16/CE. Completed by 96/11 EG (05.03.1996), 99/91 EG (23.11.1999), 01/62 EG(09.08.2001), 02/17 EG (21.02.2002) FDA : 21 CFR 177.1520 & 21 CFR 176.170

The SML overall migration calculation has been made by our polyethylene supplier according to the Piering model. Parameters used for the test : Standard liquid : H2O with pH< 4.5 Test temperature : 25C The values are under 10 mg/dm. Contact period : 240h

3. Additional conformity statement


The raw materials used to make the IBCs also meet following regulations : The heavy metal content meets the directive 94/62/CE dated 20.12.1994 of the European Parliament and Council, regarding packaging and packaging waste (from which the French decree 98-638 is an adaptation)

4. Conclusion
The product named above has been made according to the regulations. With reference to 30 and 31 of the Official Bulletin of the Federal Republic dated 17.09.1997, there is no contraindication for the use of this product in a foodstuffs process. The present certificate is valid for all IBCs we supply. The end user is responsible for checking if the packaging complies with the foreseen use. The packaging manufacturer can not be held responsible for any changes of the quality of foodstuffs that could be caused by the contact with the packaging or its accessories.
