1. Hunger: When we are too aroused (Too hungry) we act to reduce arousal (eat food etc.) 2. Boredom: When we are not aroused enough (getting bored), we act to increase arousal (Read book or solve some interesting puzzle). 3. Danger or Fear: When we perceive a significant threat to us, then our bodies get ready either for a fight to the death or a desperate flight internally from certain defeat by a clearly superior adversary, we are aroused to fight for our life.(Low to high) 4. Touch: A punch, kiss or caress ( From low to high) 5. Vision: Seeing something shocking or desirable (From Low to high) 6. Hearing: A sudden noise or somebody saying something ( From Low to high) 7. Smell: An smell or fragrance that triggers powerful memories (Low to High) 8. Taste: Of wonderful or disgusting food ( High to low)
