September 19, 2011 Dear Families of Room B236, My name is Danae OBryan and I would like to take this

opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about working with your student this fall. Currently, I am a graduate student finishing my masters degree in teaching at Northeastern University. I will be working with Ms. Nims in her English language arts class, where I will be a student teacher from September through December. Ms. Nims and I share the same high expectations for your student. In return, I expect and anticipate being shown the same standards of respect. I hope to learn from your student as much as they are learning from me while we explore literature as well as develop and strengthen crucial writing and reading skills. Over the past year I have learned about the importance of leading an interactive, well-structured, and creative class. I hope to put these into practice in the your students English language arts classroom! If you have any questions about my involvement in the classroom, or would like to meet with me at all during the course of this term, please do not hesitate to do so. I can be reached by phone at (845) 798 - 1368, or by email at danae.obryan@gmail.com. Thank you, Danae OBryan
