Adam and Eve Sin

Todays Key Point: We all sin. Memory Verse For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

A Step Further - Take some time today to review what your kids learned in TrinityLand.
1. What did you talk about in TrinityLand today? We all sin. (Romans 3:23) 2. What is sin? Being against God. (Ephesians 2:1-3, We are sinners for 3 reasons: we follow Satan; we follow our passion; by our nature/existence we are sinners.) 3. What do you sometimes do that shows you are against God? Encourage your child to name some sins that he/she may deal with. Make sure that you bring this back to Gods grace and Jesus payment for our sins on the cross.

Family Time - As a family have a meal together, open your Bible, and have a family devotional
based off of todays TrintyLand lesson. 1. This week, take time to read Genesis 3. 2. Ask questions to help your child summarize the story of Adam and Eve. 3. Tell your family about some of your sin struggles and what you felt when you received Gods gift of forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. What was the one sin that you are most grateful that God forgave? Help your children understand that we all sin. Sin is a condition that were all born intoeverything about us is against God. Thats why we need Jesus to take away our sin. Encourage your children to let you know when they want to receive Gods gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ if they havent done so yet.

Pray - Take some time as a family to pray.

Dear God, we know we all have sinned. Thank you for loving us and sending Jesus to take away that sin. Thank you for giving us a way to live for you now, and in heaven with you forever. In Jesus name, Amen. Make sure to visit the TrinityLand blog at http://trinityland.blogspot.com/ for more resources.
