    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    The aim of this project was to test the Energy Saving potential of the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) in Centrifugal pump application and thus compare the performance parameters viz. Head, Flow and Efficiency of a throttle controlled and VFD controlled induction motor pump

    system. The VFD was also simulated using MATLAB / Simulink tools to analyse the performance of VFD with varying Switching Frequency.
