HOW MY EXPLANATION OF REINCARNATION MAY HELP PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERY OF THE TRINITY If you read my previous blog

on reincarnation - and I hope you did, cos it was p retty different! - then I want to connect it with the mystery of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I was watching a Catholic show on TV and a nun came on to ask a question about t hat for kids to understand. And I remembered about reincarnation and what I had written. That may help people to comprehend this mystery much better. Say, you were born a carpenter in 1809. You lived for 30 or so years, had two k ids and a wife. When you pass away in 1840, for example, many believe, as I do , that your spirit lives on. An invisible "you" goes on to exist in another dim ension or "consciousness", as I very often describe it. The people you loved and knew also come to be with you, because you are all conn ected by a common bond of love and familiarity. So, when the original soul that was contained and reincarnated in this carpenter decides to incarnate once again, say, as a woman born in 1930 - who becomes a n un - what happens when SHE passes away? In other words, how can they both possibly exist in an after-life, if they only share one soul? Again, the mystery of the Trinity expressed in the mystery of reincarnation. This nun, who is also you, or one aspect, one incarnation in time, of you, will pass away and live on in a spiritual dimension. Yet the carpenter will as well. In a separate but very real dimension. Nothing that lives can die. Nothing that has a soul and comes from God can die. It ca n change and transform into something else, as in the case of plants and matter, but as concerns human beings especially, we live on forever. So these two people, and many others, that you were in different times in histor y will live on. IT IS THE SAME WITH GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT. The same principle behind reincarnation and your many selves is also behind this mystery. I hope this helps you better understand things.
