W. T. - Working Temperature S.P. - Softening Point C.T.E. (x 10-6/C) - Coefficient of Thermal Expansion based on theoretical calculations, to be taken as approximate values. Method of Analysing S.P. - Each frit is ground to pass through 200-mesh screen. A button is placed on a tile, kept at about 30 to the vertical and fired under observation. The softening point is measured as the temperature at which the frit starts to soften and flow.
