Event History
The H-Town Sneaker Summit was founded in December of 2003. It is a Bi-Annual Event
held in Houston, TX each Summer and Winter, where sneaker enthusiast from all walks
of life gather to buy, sell, trade, display, and discuss rare and exclusive sneakers and
clothing as well as just hang out and have a good time. Our past couple of events held
over one thousand people including local celebrities such as Rafer Alston of the
Houston Rockets, Bun B of UGK, Stephen Jones of DTP, and Johnathan Wells formerly

Upcoming Reebok Sneak Peek

Reebok showed their support for the sneaker community by being a proud sponsor
of the H-Town Summer Sneaker Summit (say that 3 times). Reebok set up a nice
display around an upstairs bar showcasing many of their upcoming products
releasing this fall/winter as well as early ‘08 product.
Some of the products may looks familiar such as the Voltron Package and Halloween
Package, but there were a handful of new kicks we were feeling. Scroll through all of
the pics after the jump.

Come and kick it with some sneaker heads
BY DUSTI RHODES
The Sneaker Summit is an expo with a whole lotta sole. The event is designed for shoe
collectors looking to expand, trade or show off their collections. "It's kind of like a comic book
convention for sneaker heads," says Craig "BBC" Long. Collecting kicks (shoes, people) is a
growing hobby, and Long says everyone from hip-hop kids to skaters to indie music fans is
involved in the craze. The Summit was started four years ago by local sneaker heads chatting on
Niketalk online sneaker community. In recent years the summit has been promoted by Bryan
"Kadoma" Angelle who partnered with Clint "Brawnz" Antaran, and attendance has been
increasing every year. Today's meeting of shoe enthusiasts will yield a wide array of vintage,
limited-edition and custom Nikes, Etnies, Adidas, Reeboks and other brands. Providing the
soundtrack will be DJ Bobby Trill OG and DJ La-Low. Attendees can also expect to score some
free giveaways. Long invites all curious parties to "come and kick it." Clever.
