1) If Ansys is already installed then uninstall and restart computer.

2) Install Ansys and setup licensing when asked at the end of install. 3) When licensing runs it will ask two questions: answer Yes to both. 4) Keep clicking next/continue until you reach "Browse for license file". 5) Run ANSYS_KEYGEN.exe (from a read/write loction; ie. Desktop) and enter the H ost ID showed on the second line in the window that pops up. 6) Enter your computer name (found by going to "Computer" properties). 7) It will generate two files "license.dat" and "license.txt". 8) In the setup browse to "license.TXT" not .DAT file. 9) Just continue setup until it finishes. 10) Run you can run Ansys.
